Van Hoy Oil Co. Inc. has been a family owned and operated business since 1943. Current owner Jeff Van Hoy purchased the business on January 1, 1997.  The business started in 1943 when Ralph Van Hoy, Jeff’s Grandfather became a Standard Oil agent and operated out of the Spiceland and Dunreith area.  In 1961 Jeff’s dad David Van Hoy became a Standard Oil agent in the Knightstown area  and after the death of his father, David took over both areas.  On January 1, 1997 Jeff Van Hoy purchased the business from his parents David and Sandra Van Hoy and has continued to operate and expand the business.  He currently operates the business with his wife Susan, sons Jeffrey Van Hoy, wife Monica and Jordan Van Hoy.  ​
